First Capital Connect Class 313 Refresh
* Application of First Capital Connect livery
* Replacement of lino flooring with ‘easy to clean’ smooth vinyl flooring
* Installation of wheelchair parking area in the PTSO vehicle - carried out during the WAGN Railway refurbishment programme
* Retrimmed seat moquette into new moquette trim
(the original low back seats were replaced with high back seats during the WAGN Railway refurbishment programme)

Note that these trains ran on Great Northern for a few years before being cascaded/transferred to North London Lines around 1986, before being cascaded/transferred back to Great Northern around 2010 !

with a brand new train look, based on the Class 365 Networker Express design.

* Replacement of First Class cabin in TCO vehicle (which then became TSO vehicle) with new First Class cabin in DTCO vehicle
with new high back bespoke seats to the 2+2 layout
* Improved interior saloon lighting diffusers
* Repainted ceilings

WAGN Railway Class 317/7 Refurbishment
This was probably the most extensive refurbishment programme undertaken as it replaced interiors dating from mid 1980s
with a brand new train look, based on the Class 365 Networker Express design.

* Replacement of original lino flooring with carpets throughout
* New dado side panels and repainted wall ends
* Installation of wheelchair parking area in the TSO vehicle, located next to the toilets
* The toilets were refurbished with new flooring, dado panels and ceiling. One toilet replaced by RVAR curved teardrop accessible toilet
* The existing seats in the 2+3 layout were replaced by new high back bespoke seats to the 2+2 layout
* Replacement of some seats with two vertical luggage stacks per a vehicle
* Replacement of existing overhead luggage rack with new transparent design
* Replacement of First Class cabin in TCO vehicle (which then became TSO vehicle) with new First Class cabin in DTCO vehicle
with new high back bespoke seats to the 2+1 layout
* Improved interior saloon lighting diffusers
* Replacement of pressure ventilation by installation of air conditioning equipment
* Repainted ceilings

and they were built by BREL York 1976-77. All were refurbished at Railcare Wolverton Works.
There are sixty one Class 315 EMU trains (315801 - 315861) and they were built by BREL York 1980 - 1981.
All were given an exterior relivery and interior refurbishment at Bombardier, Derby Works 2005.
There are twelve Class 317/1 EMU trains (317337 - 317348) and they were built by BREL York 1981 - 1983.
All were given an exterior relivery and interior refresh at Wabtec Rail, Doncaster Works.
There are twenty four Class 317/2 EMU trains (317649 - 317672) and they were built by BREL York 1985 - 1987.
All were given an exterior relivery and interior refurbishment at Railcare, Wolverton Works during 1998 - 2000.
This fleet now work West Anglia services.
There are thirteen Class 321/4 EMU trains (321401 - 321410 and 321418 - 321420) and they were built by BREL York 1990.
